Youtubers Discuss Extra-Spatial Dimensions

The other day I was mildly amusing myself with researching tesseracts (…) when I came across a video on youtube. I was drawn to the comment section and upon reading some of the replies my eyes started to glaze over. Now, calling youtube commenters stupid is rather an obvious thing to say these days and is a forgone conclusion for pretty much anyone on the internet. That said, I thought I would share a few select excepts with a few of you for our own amusement. I present these to you, in their original unaltered state:

Madowarrior123 has it all figured out:

we must be at least the fifth dimention because we can see time. we know things happened in the past if we were in the forth dimention we would have no idea of it. anyway dimention just means add another measurement so touch, smell, feel, see are all extra dimentions.
an this is not a different dimention. it is 3d because it is 2d but affected by time.

And again:

shadows are just the absence of light. they arent THINGS. ok 1 dimention then. explain that.

Ditdevil fails at explaining Flatland:

Think like this. Lay flat on the floor on ur side. without moving up and down, u are technically a square moving in 2-d. If someone were in fourdimension they could look at what we look in 3-d as if it were lyding down on the floor. 4-d is not in our universe. We live in 3-d

Secondly, you’re assuming correlation from one piece of data, a correct correlation requires at least 2 pieces of data, for example if you knew for a fact that 3D saw in 3D and 4D saw in 4D, you could assume that 5D beings saw in 5D. What you’re doing there is thinking you know what you’re talking about, but actually you’re guessing

Biking in the high desert in 90 degree heat going directly into 15 mile per hour head wind, completely dehydrated with no water, is about as fun as it sounds. On the second mile it seemed every limb in my body was shutting down, completely numb and unresponsive. My arms especially seemed to take a beating, completely numbed and seeming as though they weighed a hundred pounds. That was pretty perplexing. What exactly am I doing on a bike that is affecting my arms to such a degree? I suppose this is the part where everyone tells me I’m doing it wrong, and they’d probably be right. In any case, I hate biking now. It sucks.
